2. Purpose and legal basis for data processing

The provider processes personal data based on the following consent of the user (legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. GDPR).

Consent
I agree with the processing of my personal data as outlined below. This consent may be revoked at any time. The use of PICK is not possible without consent.

– Data collected when using PICK

The provider collects data about accesses to PICK and stores such data in server log files. The following data is logged:

  • User’s IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Device serial number of the requested device data
  • Quantity of data sent (in kB)

– Purpose of processing

It is not possible to provide the app without collecting and using the data mentioned. A general statistical evaluation also takes place, calculating, for example, the number of accesses per year. There is no personal or customer-related evaluation.
The provider reserves the right to check the server log files after the fact, should concrete indications point to illegal use.

– Storage duration

The log files are stored for long-term, statistical recording with anonymised IP addresses. On the basis of anonymity, user-specific uses or deletions are not possible.

3. Change in purpose

We reserve the right to enhance the functionality of the app at a later stage. User registration to enable the download of certain types of documents or to process enquiries may be required in the future. Should this be the case, you will receive the appropriate information in the app store or within the app in a timely manner.
